Proverbs 1:3

In three months, we have covered wisdom, heart (love) and truth! One of the foundational take-aways for me, is just how tightly intertwined these three attributes of God are and how they balance and complete each other. In God…each and all three are 100 percent Him! He is wisdom; he cannot gain any more or be any less wise than He has always been. He is love; there is no more love to be found than what is the Love of God and the love that is Him will never lessen or be expired. God is truth; All truth is God and is from God. God has zero deception or falsehood in Him. And there is no truth for man to gain and know that is not first found in God Himself!

I cannot possibly understand, nor am I meant to, how God can be all of these and all at 100%! That is why He is God and I am not!

But, if I focused on only these three attributes of God for the rest of my life, then all my remaining searches in the Bible and, specifically in Proverbs, would in God, be crystal clear to my understanding and in my thoughts and behavior. Thriving as a Christ-follower would be the joy of my life, the desire of my heart and the True North Compass all my days!

I know it is impossible in this dueling natural man that remains in me. But, I look forward to the day that I can know God in all His splendor and I value the path of following Jesus to that glorious day!
